Celebrating pretty awesome Winepilot Scores!

After Nick's podcast with the delightful Shanteh Wale she asked us if we would like to send in a few more bottles for a full review on Winepilot. Well the results are in and we are blown away by the amazing tasting notes Shanteh has written and the stellar points we received.

Thank you so much, Shanteh!

Some excerpts here but you can visit the Winepilot website for the full reviews:

The Cat's Pyjamas 2023 96 Points from Winepilot

..."Talk about complexity in a glass, this is up there with some of the finest French, English and global ciders the world over. You will first notice its peach skin tones, followed by jackfruit flesh, dried apple and lemon myrtle."...

Pommeau 2022 96 Points from Winepilot

..."Heavenly tart tatin apples, are met with Frangipani pollen, toasted almond and creamed honey. There is sweet fig, tangerine citrus and a wisp of pine nut. This is nectar sweet, not cloying with ample acidity to carry flavours long across the palate."...

Sparkling Perry 2022 95 Points from Winepilot

..."It smells as it should of juiced pears intermingled with elderflower and honeysuckle. Aloe nectar, bee pollen and glacial water. The nashi crunch of acidity leads to lemon juice and a trickle of fruit sweetness. The bubbles are fine and dainty, this is utterly thirst quenching and delicate. "...

Sparkling Cider 2023 95 Points from Winepilot

..."A glistening golden hue in the glass, the aromas invoke tart tatin apple, alongside cloudy apple juice straight from the press, some dried hay, honeycomb and birch sap. There is a waft of nutmeg, faint but alluring and honey spread along charred toast."...

Each of these ciders takes a lot of work so it's delightful to see them recognised.  Now when will they launch "ciderpilot"?
