Events - Wine week, Wassail and more!

Our Events: Celebrating Cider!

Our Cellar Door in the rolling countryside of Orange provides a wonderful location for Events that highlight the rich traditions of cider making and culture. From regular Sunday food events to our signature Wassail and Cider-Making Workshop events, we have something for everyone.

Orange Wine Week: Uncommon and Unseen

A Blindfold tasting of unexpected wines and ciders.

Blind Tasting Wine and Cider at the Unseen and Uncommon Event

18th October 2025: Put aside your ideas of wine and cider. This event will challenge your senses. Blindfolds cover your eyes, removing visual distractions to give full focus to the other senses: taste, smell and mouth texture. You will taste a selection of wines and ciders chosen to challenge your idea of what can be made from fermented apples and grapes.

Your blind tasting of natural wines from Cowra’s Pride of Lunatics and small batch vintage ciders from Small Acres Cyder will stretch you well beyond a conventional cellar door tasting.  Relax as we guide you through the character of each tasting. Make your own judgements; there’s no right or wrong, just your own experience.

Expect surprises as we draw from specialty releases, new releases and museum stock to create a taste adventure.

Book online now.
