A true Rosé cider made from Red-Fleshed apples.  The Red Moon was originally a French variety, now grown in Batlow NSW. The apples are red from core to skin with amazing berry-like flavour. We found some red-fleshed apples in a local grower's orchard and thought we had to make something special.

Medium-sweet and lightly carbonated with a lovely freshness. This is a perfect bottle to share with the strong women in your life.

No shortcuts here: no berries, grapes or artificial colours.  Just apples. A true Rosé cider.

These apples are hard to find. This is a small release with individually numbered bottles.

Full Tasting Notes:

Colour: Light salmon in colour with a lovely rose gold hue.

Aroma: A fresh and lively cider with honeysuckle, fresh cut red apple skins, grapefruit and a lemony lift. Subtle candy apple and raspbnerry notes combine well adding appeal.

Palate: A light to medium bodied, flavoursome cider with beautiful effervescence. The palate exhibits fresh apple skins and flesh flavours along with citrus tartness. The sparkling, balanced acidity highlights the region’s fruit purity with a zesty, dry, puckering finish that engages the palate.

What's a Rose Cider?

A true rose cider is made from red-fleshed apples which have an amazing natural fruity flavour. By carefully retaining the original amazing colour we pay true homage to these incredible apple varieties. Beware of imitations. The big producers add artificial colours, grape skins, berries and all kinds of things. That's fine; they can be interesting combinations but the real thing is all about the apple. It's a rose among the thorns ; )
